The US Forest Service enlisted the off-grid services of Sunsense to design and install a portfolio of projects at the iconic Maroon Bells outside of Aspen, Colorado. Stand alone PV systems, both roof and pole mounted, were included along with a micro-hydroelectric project for the bus shelter which provides shuttle service and restroom facilities for the thousands of visitors each season.
