Integrating solar electric systems at educational institutions represent a unique opportunity. Not only will the systems reduce electricity bills via renewable technologies, but they provide a “learning lab” for students and teachers alike. Sunsense was proud to participate in the construction of two ground mounted systems for Colorado Mountain College, one in Rifle, CO and one in Leadville, CO. The Rifle Campus offers a renewable energy program while the Leadville project sits at over 10,000 feet of elevation allowing exceptionally bright, productive sunlight…and snow!
